What will your outdoor Winter landscape look like this year? This is my second Winter in this house and last year I was gloomy and bleak to say the least. I simply took the flower pots off the porch and never replaced them. I also dug out the window boxes and they sat vacant all season. This year I am interested in purchasing some plants that will look festive for the holidays and then look great all Winter long. I am thinking of some small evergreens in large pots and some Holly plants. I love holly and who doesn't love tiny white lights on dark dark nights? I am planting small winter resistant plants in the window boxes this year and even adding bows for the holidays. I think I will feel so much more festive this year!
I am also getting my yard and home ready for the Winter by raking and bagging leaves, removing hoses from house, mulching beds, and trimming tree limbs that may break from the weight of ice and snow. I also went to Home Depot and bought bags of ice to place beside my snow shovel! I am ready! I like this kind of preparation really as it reminds me of the snuggly evenings ahead with my family. What do you do to your home during the Winter? Have you ever had a home on the market during the dead of winter? What curb appeal tricks and tips do you know of for cold weather? How can we make our home look great even in the snow?

Cute landscape! I think this is a time to spend time for my family and be happy in snow. I love and really want to try this cute landscape winter thing. Keep posting for more and this for the Information
